May 27, 2013. Regular contributor Francois sent these pics of humor on buses. Click here for the album.

May 26, 2013. Busy day today! First of all, NC Art sent a bunch of pics of things we don't usually see. Too many pics for Waffle so I made an album which you can see here.

Also today I went to the Taree Rescue Squad's Weekend on Wheels with hotrods, vintage cars, bikes and more. It was a perfect autumn day with sun shining. Had a bit of trouble with flare because I forgot the lens hood. Oh well... All the pics were shot with my Nikon D3100 using the 18-55mm lens. I arrived back here with over 200 shots and put them all into an album which you can see here.

May 17, 2013. A customized 1948 Ford Mercury parked outside this house a few days ago. Here's the photo album.

May 13, 2013. Last Saturday was the Centenary of Rail in the Manning (Taree, Wingham). Two steam locos, several vintage carriages and a diesel were on hand to take joy riders on local trips over the weekend and Monday. The official presentation took place at 1:30 on Saturday after dignitaries and guests arrived in Taree by steam locomotive from Wingham. Speakers included NSW Premier Barry O'Farrell and Federal Member of Parliament Rob Oakeshott. The Greater Taree City Band was on hand for festivities, as was a group of bagpipers. Vintage cars and four members of the 16th Australian Light Horse, Wingham, in ceremonial uniform, formed part of the street parade. I shot both video and stills of the event. The video footage will be edited over the next few days and posted on this page. Meanwhile, click here for the photo album.

Update: May 15. And here's the edited video of the occasion!
