November 22, 2013. Now Francois is getting into the act and sending
beautiful photos for me to assemble into an album. He says I might shoot
something as beautiful on the Odyssey. Well, I'm not so sure about that
- these are truly spectacular. Click
here for the photo album.
November 14, 2013. NC Art is at it again, this time with a series
of grand and amazing sights from around the world. Our task must be
to free ourselves by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living
creatures and the whole of nature and its beauty. Albert Einstein Click

November 6, 2013. My 88 y/o mate from North Carolina, Art, sent
a bunch of photos of 10 unique graveyards of abandoned objects. Check
out the photo album here.
November 3, 2013. Further to the journal entry below, I went
back to the south side of the Manning River yesterday and took more photos
of the flowering jacarandas except this time I had the Nikon D3100 with
me. Check here
for the best of yesterday's shots.
November 1, 2013. A few weeks ago, I took a trip over the Martin
Bridge Taree to check out the jacaranda trees. No flowers! So
I assumed I was too late because it's been a very dry winter as well as
unusually warm. But no! I wasn't too late, I was too early! So today, after
seeing other jacarandas in town in flower, I went across the bridge again
to check. Sure enough, they were in full bloom and in all their lavender
glory. The little Fuji compact was all I had with me but the pics are okay.
Over the weekend, I'll take the Nikon for a another shoot - maybe something
a bit more arty. Click
here for the photo album.
